(from IAR4) By Ambermoon (Ambermoon) on Sunday, May 7, 2000 - 12:02 pm: I know Mr. Emmerich quite well because of my webpage (we've come up with some extraordinary offers to my visitors some months ago...). So I'll get the chance to try out the different sizes andthus getting the one that fits me best. I'm looking forward to get them (since BlackStyle sometimes needs a bit longer to deliver). Be sure that I'll post again afterwards. CU Ambermoon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Fswill (Fswill) on Monday, May 1, 2000 - 09:25 pm: I am happy with the police shirt. The rubber is .6mm, thick but with still with some stretch. I like it heavy. The fit is more athletic build than I am. The shoulders are broad. (Maybe they will inspire me to try to bulk up a bit more up there, although at my age that ain't easy.) The fit is tapered so the waist is very good. I ordered my regular shirt size but gave Herr Emmerich at Extrem-Shop some measurements to go by since it was not clear how the European sizes compared with American. Turned out that our "large" is their "extra large". I did get the khaki--they call it "olivgrun". It is a good color. My other half says it is really hot. I have not polished it so cannot answer that question. The pants, by the way, are long enough that they will only be wearable tucked into boots, which is probably what I would do anyway. If you get the shirt, I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine. As the Germans say, Grusses in gummi! Fswill. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Ambermoon (Ambermoon) on Monday, May 1, 2000 - 07:01 am: Please tell a bit more about the police shirt - I know the design and think about buying it myself. How's the fit of the shirt? Did you order the size according to your measurements or did you just take your normal shirt-size? And a last question - I suppose that you took the khaki one, right? Is the latex still glossy when polished, or how is the colour? Thank you in advance, Ambermoon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Fswill (Fswill) on Sunday, April 30, 2000 - 02:21 pm: I bought a rubber police shirt and army pants from BlackStyle. I got them through Extrem-Shop und Versand in Germany who were very good to deal with even with their difficulty with English and mine with German. (We both improved as correspondence went on.) They are made from .6 mm, have a little stretch but are wonderfully firm. Re the reply from Latx, what is happening in Boston in a couple of months? I live on Cape Cod but do not necessarily hear about happenings on the other side of the canal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Latx (Latx) on Sunday, April 30, 2000 - 09:28 am: thank you Ambermoon i appreciate this have an event in Boston Ma US in a couple months so...... thanks again -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Ambermoon (Ambermoon) on Sunday, April 30, 2000 - 08:02 am: Of course they have ;-) www.blackstyle.de (in german and english language) They ship internationally, but don't ask me for the fees... CU Amber -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Latx (Latx) on Saturday, April 29, 2000 - 09:25 am: Ambermoon does Black Style have a Website if so could you post it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Ambermoon (Ambermoon) on Saturday, April 29, 2000 - 09:13 am: I've bought a catsuit from BlackStyle and are really happy with it. (It's 0.35 mm strength with no feet or gloves attached.) - You may see a picture of it in my member profile. The quality of their garments is absolutely worth the price (well glued seams and excellently fitting "basic" styles). The question of the required strength is hard to answer - if you like the soft, stretching feeling go for .35mm if you like the overall pressure and slightly restraining feeling go for .6mm. But keep in mind that the thinner the latex the easier minor size mismatches will be equalized. And one last advice Jason - DO LOOK AT THE MEASURING TABLE! BlackStyle cuts the garments a little bigger than others do! So if i wasn't too late with my reply I hope that I could help a bit... Chris -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Latexmma (Latexmma) on Sunday, April 9, 2000 - 12:18 pm: Do you know a online store, where I can buy a cheap catsuit. I like this realy extreme things, but I have a lack of money :-) I played only a little bit with panties in rubber all my other things are cheap nylon things.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Catsuitguy (Catsuitguy) on Thursday, March 2, 2000 - 02:19 pm: A few thoughts on buying a catsuit (having bought many over the last fifteen years): To me, the best compromise between sretchiness and strength is HL latex (.50mm, .020") Go thinner than this and you run the risk of tears. Attached feet should be made in the thickest rubber you can get as they get such a beating. You can get a suit in HL latex with thicker tailored feet. Attached gloves are not worth the trouble - they invariably tear and also limit the times tou can wear it (outdoors under clothes) Attached hoods are fun, but again limit the times you can wear the suit A through-crotch back zipper is very convenient for bodily functions, adds a lot of strength to the suit and allows you to lock the suit if you have the three zipper option. Use only latex polish to shine ths suit (see my posting a bout silicone polish) Anyone else got any advice? Stay rubbered, stay happy Catsuitguy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Catsuitguy (Catsuitguy) on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 - 07:53 pm: Jason Personally I would go for the 0.50mm latex (often referred to as HL) because it resists tearing a lot better than the thinner latex. Admittedly it's not as stretchy as the ML but will last a lot longer. I have had catsuits in the past in the thinner latex and they were very prone to ripping. You need to be especially careful of the feet as they take a lot of wear and tear. Get them made in a thicker gauge if you can. $300 is an average price for a catsuit, but I would advise you to spend an extra 20% or so and get one made-to-measure (unles you're lucky enough to fit a standard size). The custom fit will enhance your experience of wearing it. Good luck and have fun Catsuitguy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Stretch6 (Stretch6) on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 - 05:14 pm: The thickness is OK to perhaps a little heavy. If the ready-made size is not very close to being right on, you'll wish that you had a made-to-measure. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Jason Stark (Jason1000) on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 - 12:57 pm: I plan on buying my first catsuit from Black Style in Germany soon. Before I shell out $300 US I want to get the opinions of fellow rubberists. Is .35MM latex too thin or just right for catsuits. How is the quality of their latex clothing. I don't want to shell out $300 US and get something of poor quality. Anything you could tell me about them would be greatly appreciated. Jason |

Cpt. Rubber - Libidex are indeed well regarded. I asked a few questions of them direct, and will now attempt to put their email reply below: Dear 0x0, Garble received and understoood. Yes the site isn't too clear as to what the the difference is but it is all in the text when you click on the thumbnails. We do make a male catsuit which is the in the matrix style - tight fitting ,many panelled, back or front zip, "footed" or footless also our most popular catsuit. The slinky is a unisex catsuit made in a slightly thinner than normal rubber which a slightly freeform cut but still a lovely catsuit- more forgiving on the fit and the cheapest. The seduction is mainly a female cut because it has specially cut breastcups and more feminine lines. Some men do order this with flat cups. We also make a cowgirl catsuit which has a slit fronnt and zipper breasts. We are happy to add or take anyway from these styles - zipper breasts , shoulder zips, different coloured panels etc.... usually for no or little extra cost. If you'd like to know anything more please don't hesitate to contact me , many thanks , Simon Rose (libidex@libidex.co.uk) If you do get one, please let us all know if it's as great as they say. 0x0 |

Adding to catsuitguys way earlier post- Cocoon add 20% to the basic price of the catsuit for custom-made, then add the cost of extras so you're not being charged custom prices for standard additions and extras, only on the cost of the custom catsuit itself . On top of that they are helpful and flexible suppliers and have been known to go out of their way to help if things go pear-shaped during the delivery stage (I speak from experience-eternally grateful, thanks) Highly recommended |

(from IAR5) Custom Made Catsuits Blackice Moderator: "Events, shows and other venues" Forum I'd recommend Libidex. Fast and friendly service and they can work in different weights of latex. I remember their earlier weight for the tights were almost stocking thin. Easier to get a female friend to wear than the heavier more restricting latex. M 2nd February 2001 16:24 IP: Logged catsuitguy Moderator: "Suits, rubber--all kinds" Forum Registered: Sep 2000 Posts: 58 Over the years I've purchased custom made catsuits from S.O.A (SlimWear of America), Cocooon and Libidex. In my estimation,Libidex suits are the best quality, though Cocoon is a very close second and has a wider range of designs and "extras". All 3 are simarly priced (be prepared to pay 15-20% extra for custom sizing), delievery times usually 4 to 6 weeks. I have to give Libidex top marks for customer service. Check out their Web sites at: www.libidex.co.uk www.cocoon1.com/ Slimwear of America, PO Box 997, Eastsound, WA 98245 (206)376-5213 (machine) Hope this helps 2nd February 2001 03:16 IP: Logged Owain Glyndwr Registered: Dec 2000 Posts: 1 Who are the best suppliers of custom made catsuits?
