Can it be used on latex

While checking out the size of the rubber bikers boot, I saw this product

product discription says :it protect against UVlight
Would it also protect latexclothes from sunlight ?

I wonder if it is similar to those car care products that protect and shine your tires or they protect and shine interior plastics. I am thinking Armourall, Autoglym or similar. They claim to do similar.
