Hallo Regenpak,Originally spoken by rubberpak
redelijk zwaar pvc. Hoop dat het is wat je zoekt. Succes! Laat me weten of het is gelukt. Als je voor mij nog tips hebt, hoor ik ze graag.
Groet,
rubberpak
hallo Ruberpak,
Zo gauw ik daar in de buurt ben ga ik kijken en hopelijk ook kopen
groeten hrbbrmen2
I bought a superb black single texture rubber lined cotton cape with drawstring hood from Cocoon. It was ankle length, with fly button fastening and false pockets. I used to put it on back to front, then tie the hood over my face - absolute heaven
I have a new girlfriend/possible new wife who seems to be very amenable to my love for rubber and sneakers and related items like diving gear. I am looking for a rubber mac(k)intosh (spelling, please?) for her. Where online can I look for these? Are they all from the UK?
Many thanks,

Hi there,
Firstly, congratulations on being with someone willing to experiment .. I think a rubber mack is an excellent idea!
There has always been disagreement over the spelling - 'mackintosh', 'macintosh' ...
There are a few suppliers in the UK who sell macks:
Lakeland Elements at http://www.lakelandelements.com
Weathervain at http://www.weathervain.com
Sealwear at http://www.sealwear.co.uk/
They are not exactly cheap - a made to measure double breasted trenchcoat style mack from Lakeland Elements will cost in the region of ?300. But, worth every penny!
A woman strolling down the street in a long black rubber mack is a true Goddess!
Greetings all
Personally I would never again deal with weathervain. Some time ago I purchased a MTM mack for over ?400 which let in water through the button stitching, they refused to deal with the problem and stopped answering my communications (letters, tele calls, email). So be warned.
Thanks for that info Rubbersheep. We were about to place an order with them, but might think twice now! Anyone had a good experience with them?
I have not studied their Macs, but visited their shop few times some years ago. The quality of the garments left quite a bit to be desired, trousers, dresses and other clothing was stitched but not glued or sealed on the backside. Even the new items in the shop showed traces of material stress where the stiches were. Never bought anything as I did not trusted that the items would last without tearing.
Did not bother to check on them lately, so if they improved I would not know today. We buy our items other places.
Regards
