I raised this point a year ago and got several useful tips. Fortunately, I haven't had to apply any of them yet, but I have started to reduce my rubberwear wardrobe by offering un-wanted items for sale on eBay. And they are moving quite well, thank you very much.
I have recently lodged an "Enduring Guardianship" document which will allow my son to make decisions for or about me if I become non compos mentus at some time in the future. My wishes are recorded in the document and my son will be obliged to carry them out if I become totally incapacitated. The document does not carry any instruction to advise IAR of my demise, but I will discuss this with Peter and make sure he knows what I would like him to do. Don't expect to hear from him any time soon. I'm still looking forward to at least another 10 years. But by then I'll be pressing on to 87 and wouldn't expect to have much interest left in rubber.
