Imagination is driving forward latex design at a good rate recently, fine idea Ron.
Hi to All
It needs improvement,, the size of the hole is ok, but the size of ring should be made wider/bigger, or made from ticker latex.
To avoid the ring getting re-shaped.
When it is in use it`s no longer stays flat, the outside of the ring gets pulled/pushed upwards into bowl shape .
I'm new on this forum.
I started a few months ago with it.
Some pictures of selected things I made with rubber:
Good results, neat applique, enjoy the outfits and remember HAVE FUN.
Those look really good. How much experience did you have before making your garments and about how long did they take? Thanks for sharing.
Only 1 or 2 months since I began to buy the 1st rolls.
It takes really long especially to make patterns. Then cutting and glueing the suit itself is quick, making the logos takes forever.
I made it in 2 weeks by separate sessions.
One half of a pair of outfits I made this year for the Club Rub Annual Rubber Awards here in London. First had to make two US flags in proportion to US Federal guidelines. You can see the two flags in the photos below. The most observant and pedantic of you will notice that this flag would have never existed, alas this was not me trying to be clever but rather a miscalculation. The stripes are individual strips of red and white glued together. These became my material to then make the one seam leggings.
The top is my first and only tank top I've ever made restyled with a laser cut Jack Daniels logo appliqued to the front. At this size and intricacy there is no way that this could have been hand cut and thankfully a friend obliged with the use of the laser cutter. Arm band is just a piece of latex cut and then glued to form a ring.
On the Mrs, is an oversized t-shirt made of latex with hand cut and applied logo stating 'RATT N ROLL'. Fringing cut out of the t-shirt. Lastly a pair of zebra shorts made of black latex with white appliqued on top. All latex with the exception of the black moulded gloves is Radical Rubber .4 or .5 mm.
Keep it rockin'.
Good work... I am very impressed by so many of the people who make their own latex creations. This is excellent.
