I've just started making my own stuff the past 6 months. Let's see if this works for posting them. First is my black & white maid/little girl outfit - the tights are bought, but the dress, apron and petticoat are mine. I'll probably add a collar later

Second is a bit of anime cosplay- this is supposed to be Emeraldas from the Captain Harlock manga and anime series. The jacket and tights are my make, and are a bit rough, though I like how the skull and crossbones came out.

Hm. The links have been working just fine for me though the forum doesn't seem to like embedding html. Here's another go:

    puckles,
that is a great idea! I hadn't thought of that 'till you reminded me. All I need to do now is figure out how they did it ( it's been a long , long time!).

By the way, welcome to the IAR, and thank you for joining in

Any other ideas for the cotton tail will be greatfully received.

    cheers.

    Hi puckles,
Fanatastic! It all comes back to me now... all I have to do is find white elastics (rubber bands) and I think it might work. I'm trying to keep everything made of Rubber

    Thank you for your input.

    STEFFY,
let me know how you get on.
i have an idea for a long term project which involes both tail and ears similar to your bunny girl costume. i'd like to make something along the lines of Max's wolf outfit from the maurice sendak book 'where the wild things are'

is a bit bonkers, but i like the idea

    thanks

    Rubb: Thanks.

Those images (well, once you click on the thumbnails and go to the larger ones) are as hi-res as they get, straight from the digital camera. One detail, hard to see is that the apron's bow in the rear is enormous - the right side is drooped over in the second shot, but normally, if tucked under the apron, has about 10 inches of width at the sides. I've thought of attaching it permanently to the dress, but like the option of wearing the dress without it.

House of Whacks[rdx]247[/rdx] have a bunny costume where the tail looks like it is a small balloon.
