I have bought a lot of stuff from them in the past, particularly when I lived in the South West. They are glued latex specialists, tending more towards the fashion side of things. They latterly brought in (I believe) Honour's PVC wear and also do a range of toys, lingerie etc. Because of the latter influences, they may not come across as serious rubber vendors, but that is not the case - their goods, prices and service have always been excellent.

I also used to visit their old shoppe (where impulse-buying was a serious temptation), but gather they have now moved to bigger premises. Has anyone been there in person? Is it better, or do you think they are diluting their focus and becoming a tarty ruber sex-shop?

I was there yesterday. They have few of their catalogue items. none for men I think, on display, and the appearance is as you speculate. a bit of a tarty sex shop. Lots of female fashion wear though. Staff very nice. Have not ordered from them.

Navigating in Plymouth is very difficult and parking near shop even worse. There are a few meters just round the corner though . They are at NE of Drake Circus, no longer a Circus.

Went to Extremm Club but that is off thread.

I ordered some shirts and other things from them a couple of months ago and found the service to be slow but otherwise ok. The clothes were a bit skimpt in the cut and none of the added extras (thicker collars, trim on sleeeves) that I was used to so I sent one back with comments to that effect. No problems with the returns.

I visited their shop a few weeks ago. I'd agree that it was difficult to navigate through Plymouth but I had no problem with free parking a hundred yards from the shop (guess I was lucky). Pleasant female staff with a very similar ambience to Honour in London but without the blacked out windows. One rack of male clothes but otherwise all female.

We have been to both olde and the new shop, have always found the staff brilliant, nothing too much trouble a great rubber shop, with an enormous online stock list, and well establised and organised fetish gatherings on a monthly basis and bigger events every few months, go there? wish I had a job there!

Did you? I really must get down there some time as it was one of my fave old haunts before I moved to the Midlands. Wassit like? Their website seems to be becoming more pan-fetish (ever had a pan fetish? ) rather than the specialist rubber shoppe they were before.

Hi,

Bought from westward bound in the past and some of their stuff has been quite good. We did however buy a nuns outfit and the white latex was heavily discoloured. Due to the wait we had to actually get the item in the first place, I didn't want to send it back and wait a further month.

On the other hand, they do have a good selection of everything and their prices are competitive for the quality of goods. Plus, their clearence sales are excellent. We will still probably buy from there, but at the moment, cocoon and studiogum are the stores of the month.

Not been to the shop as it is a 4-5 hr drive. More of a day trip than a quick look.

Bought mail order from them just before Christmas. The purple dress we ordered for my wife was perfect--lovely color, great fit, excellent workmanship. We'll be ordering again...soon!
